In the summer of 2024 Sean started the Piano Etude Project, a YouTube channel dedicated to making quality recordings of unknown or underrepresented piano etudes of all types and levels. Since then, Sean has recorded hundreds of etudes for the channel, and attracted thousands of followers.
The channel features unknown etudes by well-known composers, such as Czerny, Moszkowski, and Oscar Peterson, but also features etudes by forgotten or underrepresented composers, such as Henri Ravina, Felix Le Couppey, Florence Price, Stephen Heller, Hermann Wollenhaupt, and many others.
The goal of the channel is to expand the standard piano etude repertoire by introducing etudes which otherwise would not be played, and provide a brief explanation of each etude's particular challenges and rough grade level, for anyone interested in embarking on learning any of them for themselves.
