Fostering a love of music

Sean has taught students of all ages, backgrounds, and levels, helping them achieve their goals at the piano. Having taught for several years at Vincennes University, as an Associate Instructor for Indiana University, and privately for over 15 years. Sean is experienced with teaching both group and private piano lessons to students of all skills and ages.

Sean is a member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association), NVMTA (Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association), and WMTA (Washington Music Teachers Association), through which he is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM). Several of his students have advanced to win prizes at local, regional, and state competitions. In addition to teaching privately, Sean has served as an adjudicator for state and local piano competitions, including regional and state competitions through ISSMA (Indiana State School Music Association), NVMTA, and WMTA.

Located behind the INOVA Hospital in Annandale, VA, Sean teaches in-person piano lessons at his home studio just off the beltway in Annandale, VA. He's always happy to welcome new students of all ages, backgrounds, and levels; whether you're interested in honing your skills, or starting the piano for the first time.
